<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\nVinicius C\u00e9sar<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Vinicius Cesar has both Bachlor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degrees in Computer Science, at the Federal University of Pernambuco. Vinicius co-founded Iara and currently works as a senior researcher and project manager. His main area of interest is Computer Vision, specifically visual tracking and 3D reconstruction.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Bernardo<\/strong> Reis<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bernardo Reis received his B.S. in Computer Engineering in 2010 and his M.Sc. in Computer Science in 2012 from the Federal University of Pernambuco. He co-founded Iara and has worked with augmented-reality, motion-based interaction, and high-performance computing, mainly with GPUs and FPGAs. His current research interests are computer vision and systems architecture.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Judith Kelner<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Prof. Judith Kelner is a full faculty member of the Center of Informatics in UFPE since 1979. She is the co-founder and research leader of the GRVM team since 1998. Prof. Kelner received her Ph.D. from the Computing Laboratory at the University of Kent at Canterbury, the UK in 1993. She currently teaches multimedia and interactive systems and applications, and coordinates numerous research projects in the areas of computer vision, robot interaction, cloud computing, data science visualization and smart communication devices. She has a partnership with Petrobras, Seagems, Chesf, Ericsson and several others companies. Lately she received a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in the call for Grand Challenges Explorations: Data Science Approaches to Improve Maternal and Child Health.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Leonardo Bortoni<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Leonardo Bortoni has bachelor’s in Mechatronics Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. His experiences cover modeling control and developing machine learning\/computer vision solutions for industrial problems. His areas of interest are software development, computer vision, mathematics and IOT. As a hobby Leonardo gets lost in sci-fi books and study new languages.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Marco Maia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Marco Maia graduated at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) in Computer Engineering. He has experience with embedded systems, electronics, and PCB manufacturing. With a great passion for C++, embedded systems, and IT technologies in general.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Aloysio Romeira<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Aloysio Romeira has a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering student (Graduated in 2020.1) with experience in mechanical design development, manufacturing, and reporting. Proactive, team worker and always looking for efficient solutions. In addition to being passionate about the automotive industry, currently having as a hobby, the preparation of internal combustion engines for drag racing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Gabriel Reis<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Gabriel Reis graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE) in 2016. He has a MSc in Computer Science in CIn\/UFPE. His areas of interest are product design, 3D mechanical model design and rapid prototyping. During his undergraduate course, Gabriel has participated in the mobility program Science Without Boards.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Sylvio Paes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sylvio Paes holds a degree in Industrial Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pernambuco (UPE) – POLI, with experience in the Naval and Automotive industries. He worked on student projects such as Baja SAE Brazil within Team Corisco’s off-road vehicle suspension project division. Also, He worked on the aerodynamic design of radio-controlled aircraft models in the SAE Brazil Aerodesign project at the Tenpest Team. He is passionate about internal combustion engines for racing and the practice of aeromodelling – from construction to landing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Bruno Jeronimo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bruno Jeronimo is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), where he also completed his MSc in Computer Science (2022). He holds a BSc in Business and Management from UFPE and a specialized diploma in iOS Development from the Apple Developers Academy. With a diverse academic and professional background, Bruno\u2019s expertise spans several key areas, including Software Development, Mobile Devices, User Research and Experience, Social Robotics, and Generative AI. Additionally, he is deeply interested in Innovation Management and Business Development.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Pedro Brant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Pedro Brant holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering (2022) and an M.Sc. in Computer Science (2024) from the Federal University of Pernambuco. His industry collaborations with Samsung and HP involved computer vision and generative AI for privacy-focused solutions, yielding a patent and two published papers. Dedicated to advancing applied mathematics and computer vision, he hones his expertise as a software engineer at Iara, blending technical rigor with innovative development.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n D\u00e9bora Moura<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n D\u00e9bora Moura is an undergraduate student in Media Studies at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and a Multimedia Technician, with experience in photography, image editing, clipping, copywriting, social media management, and graphic design. She has worked on science communication projects at UFPE, focusing on content production for institutional outreach.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Andreas Zaia<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Graduated in Computer Science from the Catholic University of Pernambuco (2012). He is currently a volunteer researcher at the Federal University of Pernambuco. Has experience in Computer Science, with priority on Network Administration, focused on Linux systems with research emphasis on security and attack prevention, and anomaly analysis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Eduardo Geber<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Eduardo has a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science at the Center for Informatics (CIn) at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). In 2023, received the Ricardo Ferreira Award for Young Scientific Talent during FACEPE\u2019s Scientific Initiation Conference, and used the award to present the work at the EnANPAD 2023 conference in S\u00e3o Paulo. Since May 2024, has been a Technical Extension Support Fellow at CNPq. With a strong passion for mathematics, he is particularly drawn to computing applications with a significant mathematical and algorithmic foundation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Victor Miguel<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Victor Miguel received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering in 2024 from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). His undergraduate research was oriented towards Compilers, Interpreters, and Programming Languages. He has worked as a Full-Stack Software Engineering Intern at Hent and Visagio. His research interests include Algorithms & Data Structures, Computer Graphics, Compilers & Programming Languages, and Deep Learning applied to fields previously mentioned. He is improving both his C++ and Python as a Junior Software Engineer at Iara.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Roxana Calheiros<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Roxana is a Mid-Level Administrative Analyst with a degree in Executive Secretariat and currently completing a Bachelor of Technology in Human Resources Management. She also holds an MBA in Strategic Corporate Financial Management. Iara has a multidisciplinary team. Its collaborators include masters, bachelors, and undergraduate researchers in Computer Sciences, Engineering, and Design.
